Tehran Times reported that production of copper cathode in Iran rose 61 percent during the first ten months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2018 – January 20, 2019) compared to the same period of time in the past year. As reported, over 200,000 tonnes of the product have been produced in the country during the ten-month period of this year. Also, copper cathode output in the first ten months of this year has been 178,600 tonnes, or 11 percent, more than the anticipated figure. Moreover, production of copper concentrate during the ten-month time of the present year has reached 997,535 tonnes, indicating four percent rise compared to the same period of time in the previous year.
